About This Course

Training durations: Day 1 – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Day 2 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Assessment duration: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Our target audience are those who are 18 years old and above whose job scope is related to workplace safety and health for at least 1 year with little or no prior experience in workplace compliance and/or incident management but are interested to upgrade their knowledge and skills in this aspect.

Entry Requirements:

• Minimum lower secondary and/or able to read, write, listen and speak of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 4; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 4

• Basic knowledge and general awareness on Workplace Safety and Health hazards, preventions and control measures

• At least 1 year of working experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing or similar industries

• Be motivated to learn

 

Attendance & Assessment

Kindly note that you are required to achieve a minimum of 75% attendance and be certified competent in all the assessment components.

Should you fail to meet the attendance/assessment requirements and/or terms and conditions of SSG’s funding, you will not be eligible for the course fee funding and will have to bear the full course fees.

Individual Sponsored

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

Company Sponsored

  • Absentee Payroll Claimable:$4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.
  • Skills Future Enterprise Credit (SFEC) Grant: One-off $10,000 credit cover up 90% of out-of-pocket expenses.

Union Training Assistant Programme (UTAP)

  • UTAP Claimable: NTUC member enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $500 per year.
