To deliver quality cleaning outcomes to service buyers, cleaning industries are committed to deepen the technical skillset of the cleaners.
Cleaning Chemical Handling (Level 2) is designed to equip cleaners with the knowledge and skills required in
1. Demonstrating understanding of cleaning chemicals
2. Using of cleaning chemicals and the pre and post cleaning preparation
3. Handling and reporting of incident on inappropriate use of cleaning chemicals
4. Transfer the learning acquired to their workplace.
Those whose job scope is related to cleaning chemical handling.
Candidates must have:
Received training or on-the-job training or personal coaching on topics that are relevant to the selected technical skills and competencies of the competency unit or at least 3 months of working experience
Classroom duration: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Assessment duration: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Attendance & Assessment
Kindly note that you are required to achieve a minimum of 75% attendance and be certified competent in all the assessment components.
Should you fail to meet the attendance/assessment requirements and/or terms and conditions of SSG’s funding, you will not be eligible for the course fee funding and will have to bear the full course fees.

Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.
Company Sponsored
Absentee Payroll Claimable: $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.
Skills Future Enterprise Credit (SFEC) Grant: One-off $10,000 credit cover up 90% of out-of-pocket expenses.
Union Training Assistant Programme (UTAP)
UTAP Claimable: NTUC member enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $500 per year.
