About This Course

This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Cleaning Sector.

The learning units are sequenced from a topical approach, starting with

LU1: Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management System

LU2: Potential Hazards and Recommendations for Improvement

LU3: Incident Investigation and Reporting.

Upon learning about the different topics under Workplace Safety and Health Practices, learners will next learn to apply the knowledge and skills to transfer the learning acquired to their workplace, which includes:

1. Interpret Workplace Safety and Health Management System

2. Conduct inspection to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions for improvement

3. Conduct incident investigation and reporting

 

What You’ll Learn

Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation (Level 3) is designed to equip cleaners with the knowledge and skills to perform work-place safety and health practices implementation.

 

Relevant Job Role(s)

Environmental cleaners or those interested in workplace safety and health practices implementation-related job roles.Those job related to effective communication and management.

 

Minimum Entry Requirement

Candidates must have:- Received training or on-the-job training or personal coaching on topics that are relevant to the selected technical skills and competencies of the competency unit or at least 3 months of working experience

 

Course Content

Individuals who have at least 3 months of work experience in the environmental service industry, particularly as a Supervisor, or have completed a similar module such as a cleaning course, cleaning course in Singapore, environmental cleaning services course, or WSQ cleaning course, are eligible to enroll in this assessment only pathway (AOP) module.

This AOP module exclusively consists of assessment.

Ineligible participants may choose to enroll in Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation (Level 3) module, which includes both training and assessment.

Additionally, individuals interested in a basic cleaning course or a cleaning supervisor course can explore relevant training options.

  • Skills Future Enterprise Credit (SFEC) Grant: One-off $10,000 credit cover up 90% of out-of-pocket expenses.
