About This Course

This beginner-level, full-day (8‑hour) face-to-face training equips non-technical learners with essential techniques in using generative AI via no-code chatbots and interfaces.

Participants will explore prompt design fundamentals, understanding how to structure and refine prompts using beginner-friendly techniques like zero-shot and one-shot.

Emphasis is placed on ethical, responsible prompting and privacy compliance, with hands-on exercises and practical assessments ensuring learners have the confidence and competence to apply these skills in their workplace from day one.

Training duration: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Assessment duration: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

 

What You’ll Learn

This course equips learners with foundational skills in prompt design and the responsible use of generative AI (GenAI) tools through no-code, hands-on practice.

Learners will gain knowledge and practical experience in designing effective prompts, applying safe and ethical prompting practices, and troubleshooting prompts across different use cases.

You will learn how to:

a. Understand and apply prompt design principles – Learn what makes a good prompt and how structured techniques like zero-shot and one-shot prompting can guide AI-generated content.

b. Practice responsible GenAI usage – Identify risks and misuses of prompting, and apply anonymisation techniques to comply with data privacy regulations.

c. Troubleshoot and refine prompts – Compare outputs from different prompt styles, identify prompt errors, and improve results using no-code AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Poe.

Course Topics Include:

i. Basics of prompt design

ii. Prompting strategies (zero-shot, one-shot, domain-specific)

iii. Prompt effectiveness and output variation

iv. Guardrails, ethics, and anonymisation techniques

v. Troubleshooting prompt issues with no-code adjustments
